Hi! I took the real estate board exam way back in 1982 and passed it but did not file for licensure. Does this mean I have to take the exam all over again? Altho I believe this to be so, please advise what I need to do to qualify for the next exam scheduled in March 2011. Is there an office or tel no I can contact to personally make me inquires?

[From the Admin] Hello! Since you haven’t filed for a license, you will need to earn 120 CPE credit units (120 hours) before 30 July 2011, and file for PRC registration without need for examination.

Please refer to Section 20 of the RESA Law IRR (RA 9646):

    Thanks!

good day! How about those who are LAOO IV and had been performing real property appraisal for 10 years, are they included in the grand father’s clause

[From the Admin] From what we’ve read over at

    http://www.realestateseminarandreview.com/archives/prc-form-registration-without-examination/

…you may need to present certain certifications, complete 120 hours of accredited training, and earn 24 CPE credit units.

may i ask what is the “120 units” of seminar required by the prc? saan naman po dapat pumunta and what course should be taken to gain that 120 units …if that is a prerequisite for on to take the board exam?

[From the Admin] We are awaiting the clarificatory guidelines from the PRC regarding those 120 units. For example, will it all be CRESAR units? Or will training provided by real estate property developers be considered as part of the 120 units requirement?

We will post online more info about Comprehensive Real Estate and Review or CRESAR sessions, as soon as accredited review service providers release their pricing and schedule. Thanks!

I just attended CSFRB seminar and it was announced that the exam will be on Feb 6 and 7 of 2011. For those who have inquiries regarding on how are they gonna be qualified to take the exam. There will be a re-evaluation by the PRC, so make sure you have your Transcript ready. 120 is the required units before taking up the exam. As early as now, start attending accredited seminars. Thanks.

[From the Admin] Other brokers have mentioned that the exam will be on Feb 5/6, 2011. Still, we’re waiting for the official announcement from the PRC. Thank you for the tip on getting Transcripts Of Records early!

hi! any updates on Brokers’ Exam schedule. I was browsing the PRC website and did not find anything related to real estate practice.

[From the Admin] We haven’t heard any formal announcement yet from the PRC. Perhaps you can ask Mr. Florentino S. Dulalia, Jr. who was nominated in 2009 by the Federation of Real Estate Service Associations (FRESA), for appointment as Chairman/Member of the Board of Real Estate Brokers. Thanks!

Hi Admin! Please update me skeds of review prior to the December 2010 licensure exam if it will push thru. Thanks.

[From the Admin] We haven’t heard any official announcement yet from the PRC, but we will post the news online as soon as we see the official announcement.

In the meantime, we have observed some of the previous DTI-accredited review service providers gearing up for real estate brokers’ exam review seminars in the coming months. Stay tuned! 🙂

hi. iam interesred with the online review. just want to clarify we will still enroll with accredited review center? for us to get the certificate?

[From the Admin] Please note that we have not yet heard any official announcement from the PRC regarding the rumored December 2010. Just wanted to be clear about that.

You will still need to attend the regular, face-to-face, live review conducted by PRC-accredited reviewers. If they follow the pattern during the time of the DTI (prior to July 2009 and the passage of the RESA Law or RA 9646), these accredited reviewers will issue you a Certificate of Completion or Attendance, which is needed to secure an Examination Permit.

The online review is not accredited, and neither will it issue any certificate.

There are, to the best of our knowledge, no PRC-accredited review service providers yet. Some of the DTI-accredited reviewers are waiting for guidelines from the PRC.

I have read the draft, but couldn’t find any transitory provision stating that an examination will be held in December. Where did you get the info that exam will be held in Dec?

[From the Admin] Saw it in 30,000 REALTY PROFESSIONALS MUST GET NEW LICENSE UNDER “RESA” LAW:

PRBRE has also slated the holding of its first ever Licensure Examinations under the new PRBRE, for brokers and appraisers on Dec. 5 & 6, Dr. Ong added.

Just to clarify, though, we have not yet seen any official announcement from the PRC regarding a December 2010 real estate brokers’ licensure exam.

I am interested in taking a real estate appraiser’s licensure examination. When is the schedule examination and where can I take the review?

[From the Admin] We will post the info as soon as we get updates regarding the real estate appraisers’ exam. Thanks!

Just want to inquire about the exam on Dec. 2010. Will the examination eventually push through?

Actually, I am applying for the position of a Municipal Assessor in our municipality. As based on the IRR, to get said position I must first be licensed to be qualified in the said position.

If such being the case, where could I possibly enroll for a seminar and review class?

Thank you in advance for any info on the matter.

[From the Admin] The people who used to provide real estate exam review seminars (face-to-face) during the time of the DTI, are now waiting for the final guidelines from the PRC, before they get accredited. Once they’re accredited, they will announce their future review sessions.

The online real estate exam review which is now being prepared will be based on real estate brokers’ exam topics covered in licensure exams conducted prior to the passage of the RESA Law. The purpose is to help you learn faster. The online review is NOT meant as a replacement of the face-to-face review, because the online review will not provide any certificates. You will still need the face-to-face review for the certificate, in order to take the PRC exam.

Will the December 2010 exam push through? Most likely. We haven’t read any announcement from the PRC regarding any cancelations.

    hello admin

Provided, that such applicant for Real Estate Broker shall have taken eighteen (18) units of real estate subjects and applicant for Real Estate Appraiser shall have taken twenty (24) units of real estate subjects as stated in Section 13 hereof, as may be determined by the Board.

applicable po ba itong provision ng IRR na ito sa gagawin dec 2010 exam?… if yes…. saan po makakakuha ng units na yan?…..para ba siyang subject sa college….?

[From the Admin] Since there is no B.S. Real Estate Service course yet, those 18 units of real estate subjects will be taught in real estate seminar and review classes. In the future, those topics will be covered in college once the B.S. RES course is offered.
