Hi. I was a licensed broker since the year 2000. I have been living abroad since 2006. I was able to renew my license last 2005. I visited Manila again this year 2012 but unfortunately my purse with my license was stolen. I don’t have a copy of my license and cannot remember my license number. My questions are: How can I get a new license without my knowing my license number?? What do I need to submit to renew my license? I am leaving this week and won’t be back till mid 2013. Please let me know what i need to do. Thank you!

[From the Admin] Hello! Technically, you will need to take the REB Exam again. Still, it wouldn’t hurt to get in touch with the PRC regarding your case. Thanks!

    Good day!

Ask ko lang ho, if my CPE na rin for Consultants? ilang units po kaya? is it same din ho ba with CPE for Brokers?

[From the Admin] Hello! We haven’t heard of CPEs for Real Estate Consultants, but if ever we do, we will publish the information online. We don’t think that the CPE for Consultants will be the same as the CPE for Real Estate Brokers. Thanks!

    Hi,

I arrived in the Philippines after 13 yrs of stay in Europe. I was and still a licensed broker as I possessed my broker’s license issued by HLURB/DTI. I went to DTI to renew my license but was advised that renewal of license is now under the jurisdiction of PRC. I called the PRC who told me that I cannot renew my license because the deadline date of renewal was july 30,2011. I said that I don’t have any idea about the new real estate regulations and laws even I often visited the Philippine embassy abroad, nothing new was announced to us there. PRC added that DTI submitted all the list of brokers to PRC for the renewal of broker’s licenses. Kindly advise if there is still the possibility to renew my license.

    Thanks,

[From the Admin] Hi! While the deadline has already passed, we’ve watching for any possible developments regarding those who did not make it in time for the July 30, 2011 deadline. Thanks!

You may also need to assist your real estate salespersons when they visit the PRC for the required documents.

    Thanks!
